Just like that, Shawna has made my day. She is down to earth, intelligent, insightful, and kind. Someone who has a great blog for aspiring writers (Go check it out. Right now!) and readers alike. I love reading her posts. But besides her awesomeness she bestows on me cool awards that make me feel like I really am awesome! Oh my poor fragile writer’s ego. It’s soaring right now, it is! I suspect I got this particular award because I have a big mouth, but I’ll take it anyway 
The stipulation of the award is that I must reveal 7 random facts about myself and then pass this award on to 5 bloggers of my choice. Here goes:
Random Factoid #1 – I have never ever ever tasted meat. Stop laughing you perverts! I’m a vegetarian and have been since birth. I accidentally bit into a ham sandwich once but I didn’t taste the ham and spit it out before I could. It was my friend’s fault *shakes first*
Random Factoid #2 – I’ve had my nose pierced at two different times in my life. Each time I took it out, thinking that I didn’t want it. A part of me wants one again, but really, three times? My poor nose!
Random Factoid #3 – I am clumsy. Like seriously clumsy. But I usually fall down because of my own feet/body. And twist my ankle. Everytime. Fucker!
Random Factoid #4 – My hands are double jointed. At every knuckle. So the very frist knuckle after the tip of your finger? I can bend and wave it at you. My fingers got locked like that once. I over worked that joint I think. I may have been showing off to my elementary school friends.
Random Factoid #5 – I planned my wedding in exactly 8 days. Everything went off without a hitch and there wasn’t enough time to stress. It was great! I would absolutely do it all over again!
Random Factoid #6 – I have two beautiful children. Both were born at home. On purpose. One is my land baby and the other is my water baby, born on the ground and in my tub respectively. Both experiences were one of the most amazing, special moments in my life.
Random Factoid #7 – My big toe and my lawnmower had a gruesome meeting one day. Despite have a decent hunk of my toe cut off, it grew back. Therefore I am a medical miracle. And invertebrates aren’t the only ones with regeneration powers. Ha. I have pictures to prove it

Shinda – because the owner of this blog is fantastic and never fails to me awe me with his kindness and humility. He is a gem. His blog? Sometimes controversial, sometimes funny, a lot of times entertaining — I’m always waiting for new content. A must read!
And one more mention, just cause I have to. Engarde doesn’t have a blog, but she should! She is that awesome! She is thoughtful, caring, helpful, intelligent, creative…I once described her as a cross between Mother Theresa and Martha Stewart, but better and that still stands true. Go follow her on twitter!
